Homeowner Selection & Support Committee Meeting
All Habitat affiliates are required to have a committee that assists with our Homebuyer Selection. Members of this committee review Habitat applicants and meet in pairs with potential homebuyers to assess their need for housing. Other members of that committee partner with our Homebuyers and become their liaison to Habitat. We call this person an Advocate and he or she maintains monthly contact with their chosen Homebuyer and provides guidance and updates on their case. This committee is essential for Habitat’s success. People that join this committee are people persons. They enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.
