Free Unwanted Item Pickup - Donate Your Stuff

Hello Spring! Goodbye, Clutter!

Remodeling, cleaning, downsizing or just getting organized? Whatever your project, don’t let the items you no longer need end up in your local landfill. Habitat ReStores divert hundreds of tons from landfills each year, accepting hard-to-dispose-of items including new and used furniture, appliances, and surplus building materials. Best of all, proceeds from the sale of these donated goods help families build a foundation for the future.

Right now, you have a chance to help your community by donating your post-spring cleaning items to a good cause. Habitat for Humanity of Kanawha & Putnam and its two ReStore locations – one in Charleston and one in Teays Valley – are holding a Spring Donation Drive seeking gently-used household items and construction materials.

Item donations can be dropped off during business hours at both Habitat ReStore locations, and free item pickup is available as well.

Call or text 304-881-0262 to schedule a free item pickup.

Charleston’s ReStore is located at 301 Piedmont Road and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Hurricane's ReStore, located at 3554 Teays Valley Road, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The money raised by our Habitat ReStores helps families build a decent and affordable place to call home. When the items you donate to our Habitat ReStore are sold, the money helps families achieve the strength, stability, and independence they need to build a better future.
